Support Firefighter Information

Thank you for your interest in joining the Estacada Fire District. Our goal is to keep our community safe by protecting life, property, and the environment. Volunteering requires a strong commitment to the department in helping protect our community and its residents. Estacada Rural Fire District is looking for motivated, dedicated, and professional people to help protect our community. 

We are currently accepting Support Volunteer applications only, but please check back with us in the future for upcoming opportunities!

Requirements

​

  • Must be 18 years of age

  • High School graduate or equivalent

  • Possess a valid Oregon Driver's License or ability to obtain within 30 days

  • Have an acceptable driving record

  • Pass a criminal background check

  • Pass a drug screen

Volunteer Job Description

​

  • Firefighter Rehab at Live Incidents

  • Firefighter Rehab at Training Events

  • Special Event Set-Up and Take Down

  • Attend Monthly Meetings and Training for Support Members

  • Become CPR/First Aid Certified

  • Assigned Station Duties or Special Projects

  • Other tasks as assigned based on need and provided skills
