Suicide Prevention- Secure Storage Program

Many suicide attempts take place during a short-term crisis. Putting time and distance between lethal means and individuals who may be in crisis can prevent suicide and save lives.

As a gun owner, you can choose from multiple options for securely storing and protecting from unauthorized use of your firearms when they are not in use. Clackamas County is offering gun storage options at no cost and as inventory allows to our community members. Complete the form at bit.ly/ClackCoSaferHome (or scan the QR code below) to indicate the type and quantity of item(s) you are requesting.

If you have your own residential or business alarm already installed, it is best to contact that vendor directly.  However, there are several local companies that offer these services.

Chimney Brush Loaner Program

Street Address Orde Form Anchor

Estacada Fire District residents can borrow chimney brushes from the Estacada Fire District for FREE!

Please come by the Estacada Main Station during business hours. We are located at 261 SE Jeremy Loveless Ave Estacada, OR. There is no charge to borrow the brushes and extension rods, we just ask that you bring the brush back as soon as you’re safely finished, so that we can loan it out again. Before you come in: Measure the inside of your chimney pipe - Is the chimney round or square?  Bring valid photo I.D. to the fire department to prove residency and to check out a brush. Click HERE for fireplace safety tips.

Street Address Sign Order Form

If we can’t find your address, we can’t find you quickly! When addresses are not posted or are difficult to find, it makes it hard for emergency responders to rapidly locate your residence in the event of an emergency. Estacada Fire District offers reflective address markers for those who live in the Estacada Fire District Boundaries.  We only charge $28 for the materials.  The markers will be assembled and installed for you at no extra charge. The address marker will be installed at the end of your driveway so that it is easy to see from a distance. Please allow 4-6 weeks for delivery and installation. Cash or check payment can be dropped off at the Estacada Fire Station

Thank you for submitting your address sign request. We will get back to you soon.
