**Estacada Fire District Budget Committee Vacancy Announcement**

The Estacada Fire District is actively seeking interested members of the community to fill two Budget Committee vacancies, which is an appointed 3-year term by the board of directors. Oregon Law establishes the budget committee and its functions beginning with ORS 294.414. The primary role of the committee is to ensure expenditures do not exceed revenues and the overall budget is consistent with the service priorities of the Fire District. The Budget Committee meets at least once annually, and no member receives compensation for serving on the committee. The first budget committee meeting is scheduled for Thursday April 27, 2023 and Thursday May 11, 2023 if needed.
