Engine 110 (E110)

This is the pump panel. This is where the engineer delivers the proper amount of water to firefighters on the hoseline. A hydrant would be connected to this pump within the city. Water tenders (tank trucks) bring water to the fire scene in areas outside of the city where there are no hydrants. Sometimes the tank trucks pump the water directly to these engines and sometimes they dump the water into big holding pools called porta-tanks. These engines are capable of drafting the water out of the pools to send it up to the firefighters.
