Requirements: Students must be enrolled in a fire service or EMS program at a local college and maintain a minimum of 9 credit hours each term. Students must also maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA. Students must have a good driving record and be insurable, have completed Firefighter I skills. pass the Fire District's health and physical ability evaluation, background check and be available to work 24/48 shifts while not attending school.
Salary: This is a volunteer position with reimbursement for some expenses.
