Operations

The Operations Division is the largest division of the fire department.  Under the direction of the Operations Chief, the division is responsible for 35 – 40 volunteer responders and seven career staff (6 – 24 hour shift and one training officer) personnel.  This division handles all fire, rescue, and medical aid calls for service; manages all major disaster responses; is responsible for the maintenance and purchase of all fire vehicles, equipment, tools, medical supplies and uniforms; is responsible for maintenance of all fire district facilities.  The Operations Division also manages the Training Division, insuring that all personnel are properly trained according to state and federal requirements.
